Our client offers collaborative welding solutions by utilizing Universal Robots and Fronius welding equipment. We are a fast-growing company with a presence in the US and internationally. We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our clients team in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter capable of working cross-functionally in electrical and mechanical assembly. Candidate will produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Will position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists. Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. The candidate will need to display versatility to handle day-to-day activities and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Pay: $18-$23/hour based on experienceSchedule: Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch)
This position is contract-to-hire. It is a 6-month contract. Once contract is completed, you will convert to staff.

Job Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:*Perform light fabrication of metal and plastic components *Cast parts out of plastic *Assemble electrical cabinets *Assemble collaborative robotic welding systems *Assist in process improvements *Assist with shipping activities and organizing workflows *Undertake ad-hoc projects Qualifications:*High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent *General electrical and mechanical knowledge *Ability to read and interpret documents, including mechanical and electrical schematics *Basic computer skills Please submit a current resume to be considered.
