Automotive Technician


About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Technician (Electrical/Wire Harness) to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and proper functionality of vehicles by diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, focusing specifically on replacing faulty wire harnesses.
Responsibilities: Utilize vehicle diagnostics provided by plant personnel to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning electrical nodes and wire harnesses according to factory service manuals and established procedures.
Perform thorough quality checks on all repairs to guarantee they meet safety and performance standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document all repairs performed for future reference.
May assist with minor physical repairs on vehicles as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive electrical repair or a related field.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Experience with wire harness repair and replacement is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively with hand tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license required.
