This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED concrete Laborers in Indianapolis, IN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7am-3; 30 pm, some OT and weekend workLOCATION: Indianapolis, IN PAY RATE: $16-$22/hr (depending on experience)
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* General and final cleanup
* Distribution / cleanup of power hand-tools / extension cords / generators
* Dewatering activities / set-up water pumps and hoses
* Manual moving of formwork, lumber, rebar and material / accessories
* Hand excavation and backfill
* Hand grade sub-base
* Place vapor barrier / board insulation
* Place and tie rebar
* Placing concrete from a truck, pump, bucket, buggy, conveyor, etc.
* Rake concrete / screed concrete / edge concrete / broom finish concrete
* Vibrate concrete
* Place concrete blankets
* Strip/ wreck, clean and oiling of formwork
* Use of demolition tools: jack hammer, air tools, sledge hammer, etc.
* Use of cutoff saw
* Other tasks as directed by foreman or superintendent

Job Requirements

Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of two years' experience in all phases of commercial construction * Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills * Be willing to work within a 50 mile radius * Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions Talent Logistix is a work force business solutions provider. Jena Toney joined TalentLogisticX in November 2021 as a recruiter. Before becoming a full-time recruiter, she was an HR manager for an RV company, which helps with recruiting on the manufacturing side of TLX accounts. 

Jena, originally from Goshen IN, made her way to Indianapolis in 2009 when she attended college at the University of Indianapolis. She graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. 

Jena is a mother of one boy- Kamdyn and a dog- Simba. They enjoy being outside and going for walks. Jena enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Kamdyn play all the sports, BBQs, and all the lake and pool days. 

The way to Jena’s heart is all things wine/champagne, Mexican food, and queso!
