This employer is seeking Skilled and semi-skilled Electricians in Franklin, IN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7am-3: 30pm, some weekend workLOCATION: Franklin, IN PAY RATE: $26-$31/hr (depending on experience)
Electrician Job Responsibilities:
* Repair and replace wiring.
* Read blueprints and schematics.
* Document repairs and modifications.
* Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
* Design and install indoor and outdoor electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
* Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers.
* Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.
Electrician Qualifications/Skills:
* Ability to run romex and bend conduit.
* Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
* Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
* Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.
* Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
* Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Hours, Pay & Benefits
* 40-50 hours a week typical so OT a possibility
* Per Diem for travel project
* Paid weekly

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE ALL PPE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HARD HAT, WORK BOOTS, SAFETY GLASSES, GLOVES, HIGH VISIBILITY VEST AND HARNESS & LANYARD Project is a new construction build within a metal factory. The main job duties would be pulling wire and conduit. Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements: * OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Training and Safety is a plus * 2-3 years residential, commercial, or industrial electrical experience. * Experience with new builds, renovations, and historical restoration projects. * Associate degree in electrical technology preferred. * High school diploma or GED. * Driver's license.
