This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Elevator Install Technician in Nashville, TN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7am-4: 00pm, some weekend workLOCATION: Nashville, TNPAY RATE: $20-$25/hr (depending on experience)
All candidates must have some level of familiarity with:
*Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components and to select the equipment needed for installation or repair
*Assemble elevator cars, installing each car's platform, walls, and doors
*Connect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motors
*Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications
*Troubleshoot malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems
*Dismantle elevator or escalator units in order to gain access to remove and replace defective parts, using hoists, ladders, and hand/power tools
*Repair and/or replace faulty components in order to return elevator to fully operational status
*Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of elevators and escalators on a scheduled basis to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
*Keep service records of all maintenance and repair tasks

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE ALL PPE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HARD HAT, WORK BOOTS, SAFETY GLASSES, GLOVES AND HIGH VISIBILITY VEST Must also: *Be able to lift 50lbs. *High school diploma or equivalent *Minimum of two years' experience in mechanical, automotive or construction industry *Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills *Be willing to work within a 50 mile radius *Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions Talent Logistix is a work force business solutions provider.
