This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Environmental Field Services HEO in Indianapolis, IN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN PAY RATE: $30/hr (depending on experience)
Seeking HEO. Construction experience and/or Hazwoper (40 hour) certification a plus. Requires minimum of 7 years of earth moving equipment operation experience. OSHA Hazwoper (40 hour) certification a plus. This position is in a construction environment, working around heavy equipment. It requires travel to multiple state client locations, working outdoors in all types of weather, lifting 50-100 lbs. Responsible for performing various aspects of field work related to: Remedial Construction - soil excavation/removal; remediation systems installation; demolition; and clean construction. Includes site grading; site capping; underground storage tank (UST) removals and chemical mixing operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Safely operate excavators, dozers, front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers, etc.
*Load trucks and other job preparation activities; assist others as needed.
*Mobilize to and from project job sites.
*Verify public and private utility locates have been completed and are appropriately marked before performing any work.
*Maintain equipment and vehicles in the proper manner; maintain in a clean and good working order after each use.
*Inspect and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles; report broken or damaged equipment to Manager.
*Maintain a professional and clean appearance.
*Provide great customer service (be personable, respectful, and helpful to clients).

Job Requirements

*Current, valid driver's license *Willing to travel, work outdoors year round, labor intensive*5-10 hours paid overtime/week *Travel costs paid by company; $40 per diem + paid hotel *Company transportation provided *Majority of travel within Indiana and surrounding states; some travel further away *Physically capable is a requirement *Previous experience is preferred *40 hour HazWOPER is preferred *Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of construction or outdoor labor experience *Qualified candidates will have some construction or outdoor labor experience *High school diploma or equivalency *Qualified candidates will have the ability and willingness to pass OSHA Hazwoper (40 hour) certification (Already possessing OSHA Hazwoper (40 hour) certification a plus) *Qualified candidates must have the ability to pass a drug screen Talent Logistix is a work force business solutions provider.
