TalentLogistiX is immediately seeking an experienced Commercial Journeyman Electrician in the Crane, IN area to join our winning team! We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

 

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 / Hour – Depending on Experience

Per Diem: Hotel Room & Food Allowance – if local, mileage

Contract Length: 6-18 months

Project Expected Start: mid to late March

Location: Crane, IN

 

Must complete an NACI Background Check.

 

Commercial Journeyman Electrician Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician with proven expertise in commercial and defense electrical work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in installing and bending rigid and EMT conduit, wiring 110 VAC circuits, and performing high-quality work in both building interiors and outdoor bunker fields. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and safely on a secure military base are essential. While a formal Journeyman’ s license is preferred, demonstrated competency in heavy commercial or defense electrical work is required.

Commercial Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:
  • Install, bend, and run rigid and EMT conduit inside buildings and in outdoor bunker field areas.
  • Pull and terminate wiring for 110 VAC circuits, ensuring code compliance and safety standards.
  • Work with high voltage systems as needed, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with other trades and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain organized work areas and proper documentation for inspections and project tracking.
  • Follow all military base security protocols and pass NACI Background check requirements.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance on installed systems as required.

Commercial Journeyman Electrician Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Electrician Licensure – Preferred
  • 3– 8 years of commercial electrical experience, preferably in heavy commercial or defense/military projects.
  • Proficiency with rigid conduit, EMT, high voltage systems, and 110 VAC circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Competent and safe in performing all electrical tasks independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to pass a NACI Background check and comply with base security requirements.
