Talent LogistiX is seeking a Master Level Technician for a local Powersport Dealership. This position is a contract to permanent position with a stable company that offers full benefits for employees, such as health/vision/dental insurance, life insurance and PTO. This position is at BMW Powersport dealership in Lafayette, IN.

Full-Time - Lafayette, IN
$28-36/hour (based on experience) + bonus for hours billed
Tues-Fri: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-4pm
Off: Sun/Mon

RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnosing complex problems on multiple manufacturer's products by using latest diagnostic equipment

Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership

Familiarity with use and operation of a Dynamometer

Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units

Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, assisting other team members as required

Perform multiple additional functions in the dealership as needed, including but not limited to service writing, parts counter assistance, unit pickup and delivery, and assistance to apprentice technicians as needed.

Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on site

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS*Valid local license with motorcycle endorsement *Lightspeed experience is a plus *Critical thinker with problem-solving and research skills *Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills and positive attitude *Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment *Ability to work on weekends *High school diploma or equivalent *Formal training, preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMI. *Should have your own tools and a minimum of three years of experience working in a franchised dealership setting. *Must have a 'sales and customer service' attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers
