This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Plumbers in Dayton, Ohio to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7: 30am - 3: 30pm, some weekend workPAY RATE: $20/hr to $30/hr (depending on experience)
Job Duties include but are not limited to:*Reads and interprets Contract Documents, Architectural, Piping, and Plumbing Documents.
*Read and interpret Submittals and Shop Drawings.
*Possess a basic understanding of HVAC Systems Operations.
*Possess an understanding of Plumbing fixtures and fixture fittings
*Have the ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues.
*Possess an understanding of Water supply and distribution systems installations and materials.
*Possess an understanding of sanitary drainage systems installations and materials.
*Possess an understanding of Storm drainage systems installations and materials.
*Must be able to Solder and braze plumbing piping.
*Possess an understanding of Fuel piping installations and materials.
*Possess an understanding of Medical gas systems installations and materials.
*Possess an understanding of Waste and vent installations and materials.
*Must have an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
*Has the ability to install plumbing systems with limited supervision.
*Performs layout of plumbing systems as per approved drawings.
*Assists with hands-on training of co-workers.
*All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the Plumbing industry. Basic understanding of assembly and installation of all types of plumbing systems both above ground and underground. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Four (4) years of related experience SKILLS/ABILITIES: Well organized, accurate and attentive to detail. Excellent communications and public relations abilities. Ability to assist and support others. FINGER DEXTERITY: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. Ability to use trade related hand tools. TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. REPETITIVE MOTIONS: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers as when using trade related hand tools. VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual insight necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machinery. PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Exert up to 100 lbs. of force, bend, climb ladders, and grip hand tools. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds. WORKING CONDITIONS: May encounter any hazards related to a construction jobsite. May be exposed to extreme summer temperatures. May be required to work in confined spaces. May be required to work overtime, weekends, and non- traditional work hours depending upon the needs of the project. Must follow all of the rules and regulations of the Safety Handbook. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but simple instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables. MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to perform basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers; to perform operations with units of measure such as inch, foot, yard, ounce, and pound or metric equivalents. Michael joined the TLX Talent Acquisition team as a Recruiter in March 2023. Prior to joining TLX, he has held a plethora of roles within Recruiting and Talent Acquisition across the Midwest including Chicago, Illinois and Louisville, Kentucky.

Michael is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and a former athlete. Currently, he is an avid football and basketball fan. In his spare time he is a DJ and enjoys photography and most importantly sneakers.
