Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our team at Gordon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, transitioning from fieldwork to management. This is a high-level position responsible for overseeing plumbing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Financials: Manage the financial aspects of plumbing projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Project Schedule: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that timelines are met and all project milestones are completed.
Cost Management: Oversee cost management for plumbing projects, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability.
Job Setup: Coordinate all aspects of project setup, including logistics, resource allocation, and procurement.
Software: Utilize Viewpoint/Vista software to manage project details, track progress, and report on financials.
Requirements:
Experience: A background in plumbing with experience in the field followed by recent managerial responsibilities as a Project Manager.
Licensing/Certifications: No specific licenses or certifications required.
Management Experience: Must have a proven ability to manage large-scale plumbing projects and lead a team.
Software Knowledge: Experience with Viewpoint/Vista or similar project management software is preferred.
Leadership: The ability to effectively lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Growth Potential:
The Plumbing Project Manager will eventually be responsible for running the entire construction department, providing significant growth opportunities within the company.
