Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Set up, tear down, clean up, and program 5 axis Swiss lathes.Read and interpret Drawings on Specifications.Read and follow Routing Instructions, inspection reports, and quality control plans to produce finished parts.Create new and edit existing programs using 2D drawings for Citizen Swiss CNC Lathes.Perform change over and operate Swiss CNC machines to produce First Article pieces.Operate Benchtop lathes and general shop equipment including saws, belt sanders, grinding and buffing wheels as needed.Inspect parts as required when they are produced using calipers, gages, optical comparators, and micrometers to ensure accuracy.Follow daily shift procedures.Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

Desired Skills:Advanced knowledge of CNC Swiss Lathes and precision level machiningKnowledge of 3, 4, and 5 axis Swiss MachinesAbility to set up, tear down, clean up, and programming of Swiss machineryReading drawings/ blueprints, GD&T knowledgeAttention to Detail and sense of urgency.Proficiency in using a variety of inspection tools and measuring devices including calipers, gages, and micrometers.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.General knowledge of Machine Tooling Experience: CNC Swiss Lathe - Setup, Tear down, and Programming experience (3 years) Manufacturing experience - (3 years)
