This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Weigh Scale Operator in Barrington, NJ to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some weekend workLOCATION: Barrington, NJ PAY RATE: $18/hr-$20/hr

The Scale Operator is responsible for using a computerized scale to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles. This position requires computer proficiency, and our ideal candidate has prior experience with trucking and industrial workplace safety.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: Operating primary (large) and secondary (small) scales.
Creating and closing tickets on secondary, small scale.
Scheduling pallet trailer swaps, metal, and Waste Management open top swaps.
Processing freight invoices.
Managing all inbound traffic from Gray's Ferry, including monitoring tons.
Corresponding with suppliers when necessary.
Maintaining a safe, organized working environment.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a plant environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Job Requirements

What you need to succeed:1 year of prior scale operation experience preferred. Computer proficiency. Required Skills & Competencies: High school diploma or GED. Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment. Basic math skills. Perform other duties as directed. Talent Logistix is a work force business solutions provider. Jena, originally from Goshen IN, made her way to Indianapolis in 2009 when she attended college at the University of Indianapolis. She graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. 

Jena is a mother of one boy- Kamdyn and a dog- Simba. They enjoy being outside and going for walks. Jena enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Kamdyn play all the sports, BBQs, and all the lake and pool days. 

The way to Jena’s heart is all things wine/champagne, Mexican food, and queso!
