This employer is seeking an EXPERIENCED Aluminum Welder in Indianapolis, IN to join our winning team. We offer steady work, above average wages with weekly pay and a full benefits package for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7am-3: 30pm, some weekend workLOCATION: Indianapolis, IN PAY RATE: $20/hr
We are currently seeking an aluminum welder. Individual will be responsible for MIG welding aluminum and steel on a variety of trucking parts and in a manufacturing environment, under the supervision and direction of department production supervisor. Job duties include: *Performs aluminum and steel welding operations to support the production floor.
*Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead and department supervisor.
*Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
*Must be familiar with welding & fabrication concepts in order to perform the tasks stated above.
*Must be able to operate a stand‐ up and sit‐ down forklift
*Must be able to weld a finished product

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: *3 years of manufacturing‐related experience. *3 years of aluminum welding in a production environment *Strong ability to read a tape measure and blueprints. *Strong understanding of safety and quality processes. Drew is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and a former athlete. Currently, he is an avid basketball fan, fitness enthusiast and aspiring personal trainer.

 

Drew is the proud father of his 13-year-old son Shawn, and now serves as a youth coach and mentor for young athletes within the Hamilton County community where he and Shawn reside.
